With waterway access to the Mississippi River you really can get anywhere from here, or get here from anywhere in the world.

The Natchitoches Parish Port is located in Pool 3 of the Red River at River mile 152.2 (from the Mississippi River at the Old River Lock).  We are the only slack water port on the Red River.

Our port is a multi-modal facility with River, Rail and Highway transportation options.

We are situated at the intersection of LA Highway 6 and LA Highway 486; 3 miles to U.S. Highways 71 and 84; 5 miles to LA Highway 1; 10 miles to Interstate 49.
